The Israeli Blockchain space is filled with amazing individuals. People that are willing to advance the technology to new heights and people that have left their mark in the space. We have composed a list of the top 16 Israeli influencers in the world of blockchain space and community you should follow in 2018.
The list itself is not organized in any specific manner. We are, of course, missing many people but we did our best! If you believe there is someone that should be on this list and isn’t, let us know!

(1) Moshe Hogeg
A Blockchain investor and a serial entrepreneur that founded, headed and advised numerous ICOs. Hogeg is the Founder & Co-CEO of Sirin Labs, a $157 million ICO. Hogeg recently founded Alignment Ventures, a Blockchain Hub serving networks such as Bancor, STOX, KIK. In addition, Hogeg is the Founder & Chairman of the Singulariteam Group, a private fund investing in disruptive technologies with focuses on artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, robotics, and nanotechnology.

(2) Eyal Hertzog
Eyal is product architect at Bancor Protocol a $153 million ICO. Eyal was the Founder of MetaCafe, Israel’s fastest growing video sharing site, reaching over 50 million unique users at its peak. Eyal has been an outspoken thought leader on cryptocurrency and the Internet long tail in Israel. Currently, Eyal is the architect of the Bancor protocol, the Bancor Network Token (BNT), and the suite of end-user products that utilize it.

(3) Tal Kol
Tal is a Co-Founder of Orbs, the only major blockchain built for the needs of consumer applications. Orbs is working with large consumer applications to help bring crypto to the mainstream. Prior to Orbs, Tal was head of engineering at Kin, decentralized ecosystem of digital services for daily life. Before joining Kin, Tal was the head of mobile at Wix.com as Wix acquired Appixia, a startup he co-founded.

(4) Meni Rosenfeld
Meni serves as the chairman of the Israeli Bitcoin Association. Meni is a mathematics M.Sc. graduate of the Weizmann Institute of Science, specializing in machine learning. Meni has worked as the head of research of the internet startup Similarweb, where he was in charge of developing algorithms for measuring connections between websites and analyzing web traffic. After being exposed to Bitcoin in March 2011, Meni has established the Bitcoin community in Israel, founded Bitcoil — Israel’s first Bitcoin exchange service, and performed mathematical research on the algorithms that underlie the functioning of the Bitcoin and blockchain system.

Nimrod Lehavi, Co-Founder & CEO of Simplex, fintech company focused on online payment processing and fraud. Nimrod Lehavi’s career spans two decades of experience and knowledge. He is well respected in Israel’s startup scene for his proven ability to lead large scale top notch software projects. Nimrod is a board member of the Israeli Bitcoin Association.

Shmulik is the founder at Leadcoin a $50 million ICO. Shmulik Grizim enters the cryptocurrency world after founding and heading three successful companies within the SaaS, Technology, Web Design and Digital Marketing industries including Webydo, a patent protected web platform with a global network of more than 300K users. Webydo was named by Forbes as one of the five startups that are reshaping the web economy. Guy is the President of DAGlabs Ltd. is a company dedicated to the research and development of DAG protocols for blockchain based projects and platforms. Blockchains today are difficult to scale securely, the main task of DAGlabs is scaling up Layer One of blockchain in terms of transaction throughput and confirmation times. Previously Guy was the CEO of Spondoolies-Tech, a global provider of cryptocurrency mining equipment.
